Born in Florence, Italy—the cradle of the Renaissance—Valentina Perissi is an artist, fashion designer, and creative director whose work seamlessly merges fine art with luxury fashion. Growing up surrounded by centuries of artistic heritage, she developed a passion for painting and craftsmanship that would later define her creative vision.
After building an extensive career spanning more than two decades in the international luxury fashion industry, Valentina collaborated with some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses, including Roberto Cavalli, where she refined her expertise in design, luxury craftsmanship, product development, and creative direction. These experiences gave her a deep understanding of exceptional quality and timeless design while inspiring her to pursue a more personal artistic path.
Driven by the desire to transform original artwork into wearable masterpieces, she founded Dafne Italy Art Fashion, a luxury brand where every creation begins as an original painting. Rather than treating fashion as decoration, Valentina approaches each garment, handbag, and accessory as a moving canvas—an authentic work of art designed to be lived in, collected, and passed down.
Today, based in New York City, Valentina continues to blur the boundaries between art and fashion through exclusive collections, editorial features, luxury collaborations, exhibitions, and private presentations. Her work celebrates individuality, craftsmanship, and the belief that true luxury lies in originality.

Artist Statement
I have never believed that art belongs only inside a gallery.
Every painting I create carries emotion, movement, and energy. Transforming those paintings into fashion allows that emotion to continue its journey through the people who wear my creations.
Each Dafne piece begins with an original artwork created by hand. Every brushstroke is intentional; every detail is crafted to preserve the spirit of the original painting while celebrating Italian craftsmanship and contemporary luxury.
My goal is not simply to create beautiful clothing or accessories. I want to create collectible pieces that inspire confidence, tell a story, and allow people to experience art in their everyday lives.

My Journey
- My journey began with a love for painting and evolved through more than 20 years in luxury fashion.
- Working alongside internationally recognized fashion brands taught me discipline, precision, and the importance of exceptional craftsmanship. At the same time, I never stopped painting.
- Eventually, I realized I didn’t want to separate my two passions. I wanted to create a world where fashion and fine art could exist as one.
- That vision became Dafne Italy Art Fashion—a brand dedicated to transforming original paintings into one-of-a-kind luxury fashion.

Every collection begins on canvas before becoming leather jackets, handbags, jewelry, or accessories. Each piece is individually hand-painted and designed to feel as unique as the artwork that inspired it.
The Collection
The current Dafne collection celebrates the union of contemporary art and luxury craftsmanship.
Inspired by abstract expressionism, Italian culture, and the freedom of artistic expression, every design combines sculptural silhouettes with expressive hand-painted details.
One of the brand’s signature symbols is the Eye, representing intuition, protection, creativity, and vision. Metallic accents, expressive brushstrokes, and vibrant colors further define each collection, creating wearable works of art that are both timeless and unmistakably unique.
Rather than following seasonal trends, Dafne creates collectible luxury pieces intended to become future heirlooms.
